Despuès de un tiempo, que me imagino se te habrà hecho eterno. Ahora ya te puedes olvidar de todo ese mal trago y pasar pàgina.

Por desgracia se lo que es estar de problema en problema con la moto peregrinando de taller en taller (afortunadamente no con esta  :wink: ) y se pasa tela de mal........ :wink:  :wink:

A partir de ahora a disfrutar de nuevo de la máquina.

Con respecto a lo del taller....es una putada pero si les amonestas simplemente se van a reir de ti. Pensarán por dentro que tienen suficientes clientes y que perder uno no les hará daño. Yo les amenazaría con algo un poco más serio, como que la próxima esperas no tener los ismos problemas o te encargarás de que la gente que conoces y lleva la moto al taller dejará de hacerlo con una mala publicidad que reciba dicho taller.
No se es una idea. :roll:  :oops:

Like most posts that I reply to. I only read the first item & not the replies, as I use a translator to try and understand what is being asked & "hopefully" give a sensible answer.

It would seem that your V-Tec is using/burning oil ?
This as you know is not correct & Honda "MUST" deal with this under its warrenty terms (2 anos aqui ?)

It is not normal despite what the mechanics say/suggest & my advice is to take this issue to the top of Honda esp.
I can enlist the help of Hondavfrclub.org (bikersoracle.com) should the need arrise, but the translator may have got it all wrong & you are asking about the rear light   :roll:

In which case I will carry on painting the casa   :D

My VFR VTEC started burning oil after the 48.000 kms. revision (that includes a valves regulation). First, it losed oil because of a smashed washer ("arandela" in spanish). I suppose it was due to hard fixing of the screw. Then I detected white-blue smoke when starting the engine and when it was hot.

The concessionaire told me many weird stories about the cause of all of that (it was normal that a VFR consumes oil 8O, it was a sparks problem 8O, I rided hard, ... and so on), until they finally gave me the reason and said there was a problem inside the engine, so they had to open it.

My problem was finally solved with a phone call to Montesa-Honda because the concessionaire didn't want to make the repair into guarantee. The problem was a broken ¿detent? ("reten", in spanish) of a valve in the back right cilinder.

One thing is clear for me:  I'll never go back to that concessionaire if I can avoid it.

Joder Xan no sabia nada, he estado leyendo todos los post de este hilo y alucino como te han tratado en el taller,(y a tu pobre V) yo solo les daba , menos mal que se ha solucionado, me alegro un monton que el problema este solucionado, ahora a seguir disfrutando de esa pedazo de moto que tienes.
